This Privacy Policy explains how JourneyPilot ("we," "us," or "our") manages, processes, and secures data when operating our fully managed enterprise customer engagement platform, analytics dashboards, and messaging infrastructure, including our integration with Meta.
This policy is designed for our enterprise clients ("You" or "Clients") who utilize JourneyPilot on a managed SaaS subscription basis to orchestrate customer data and marketing campaigns.
1. Enterprise Data Integration & Collection
JourneyPilot operates as a managed service. We do not utilize self-serve public account creation. Instead, we establish secure, custom data pipelines directly connected to your enterprise database or data lake. Through this pipeline, we ingest the necessary data to power your analytics and campaign orchestration.
- Platform & Pipeline Data: We ingest transactional data, customer profiles, and analytics metrics directly from your infrastructure to populate the JourneyPilot dashboards and enable the "Studio" segmentation engine.
- Channel Integration Data: When you authorize a messaging channel (e.g., via Meta’s Embedded Signup for WhatsApp), we collect and securely store your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) credentials, system tokens, and approved message templates to act as your messaging technology provider.
- Inbound Messaging Data: We temporarily process the content of inbound replies from your customers during the standard 24-hour customer service chat window to enable two-way communication.
2. How We Process Your Data
We act strictly as a data processor. The data flowing through our pipelines is used exclusively to operate the JourneyPilot platform for your specific business operations:
- To populate business intelligence dashboards and customer 360 analysis.
- To enable the creation and storage of customer segments within the Studio.
- To facilitate the routing and delivery of targeted campaigns via Meta's WhatsApp infrastructure.
Strict Limitation on Use: We never claim ownership of your data. We do not sell, rent, or share your database records, customer lists, or segment data with unauthorized third parties. Your data is never used for our own marketing purposes or to build cross-client profiles.
3. Third-Party Infrastructure (Meta Integration)
To facilitate WhatsApp campaign execution, JourneyPilot integrates directly with Meta. We transmit only the strictly necessary payloads (such as approved message templates and targeted phone numbers) to Meta's servers solely for the purpose of message delivery, ensuring full compliance with Meta's WhatsApp Business Terms.
4. Complete Data Control & On-Demand Deletion
We provide you with absolute flexibility and control over your workspace. Your data remains siloed and entirely under your command within the JourneyPilot environment.
- Real-Time Asset Removal: At any point, you can manually delete any data asset visible within your JourneyPilot dashboard. This includes custom audience segments, message templates, campaign histories, and your integrated WhatsApp channels.
- Instant Storage Purge: The moment you remove these items from your JourneyPilot interface, they are permanently and irreversibly purged from JourneyPilot's backend data storages. We maintain no hidden backups of your deleted operational assets.
5. Subscription Cancellation & Data Purge
Your data remains in our platform only as long as you require our services.
- Complete Disconnection: If you choose to cancel your JourneyPilot SaaS subscription, we immediately sever the connection to your underlying database and data lake.
- Data Wiping: Upon cancellation, all data ingested or generated within our platform including all custom segments, messaging templates, campaign histories, and channel credentials - permanently purged from the JourneyPilot infrastructure. We retain no residual copies of your customer data.
6. End-Customer Consent
As the data controller, you are responsible for maintaining the appropriate opt-in consent from your customers prior to routing marketing communications through JourneyPilot. Our platform supports the processing of standard opt-out commands (e.g., "STOP") to comply with global messaging regulations and Meta's usage policies.
